Creating the tracks for Quicksand really came out of improvisation and experimentation. Initially the songs were not meant to be shared. Eventually, needing fresh material for performing at receptions and special events, I was able to put together a collection that I could release. Here I am performing Quicksand from the “Quicksand” CD. All of the cuts are original compositions completely performed and produced by me. This is by far the most popular cut from the CD. This is not classical. It isn’t jazz. It is not pop and it’s not rock. Quicksand is a blending of styles with a hint of new age, jazz and latin/spanish sounds. It can be haunting, peaceful, moody, forceful—-beautiful. You decide. Give it a try. It may be speaking your language.
