Pianist✝ Organist ✝ Flutist for Church Services

From time to time I get requests to play for weddings and funerals. It seems that finding a pianist or organist for services is not always an easy task. Most of the time it is through word of mouth that people get my contact information.

I have been a Church musician for many years, and I have played for different religious denominations on different types of pipe organs, electronic organs and pianos. I am familiar with many different Christian hymns, both traditional and contemporary.

I have been teaching private music lessons for more than 25 years.  I hold a degree in music from the University of Connecticut. Setting up your lesson time is easy.  Lessons are held once a week in my studio or in your home.

Teaching piano and flute has always been a joy for me. This is partly because I know, that I will be passing on knowledge that has been passed down to me through a unique musical family tree. My approach to teaching can be described as easy going, while maintaining and expecting a high level of discipline. Students learn very quickly with me, because I start them out with well known method books. And yet my experience allows me to take them far beyond what is found on the written page. I also understand that every person has unique qualities, and I cater to the needs of the individual. I get to know my students. Many of my students have remained with me for many years.
